Description: The caster creates a ball of energy that does 10d6 points of Divine and Positive and 12d6 of Acid and Sonic damage to all targets in its blast radius. This spell is not affected by armor check penalties, nor can it be interrupted. For saves, the evasion feat does not apply. This spell also has a knockdown component.

The energy-absorption spells are easily able to prevent up to half of the damage done from this spell, as the different damage types are checked against them simultaneously, rather than sequentially (so that damage absorbtion destroying the shield is not taken into effect).

The DC on this spell is calculated as 15 + Caster Level/2 + Ability Modifier

1/29/08 - At 35 caster levels, Hellball affects all targets (friend and foe) except the caster. With 40 caster levels, Hellball becomes party friendly and only affects foes. Will also unstealth a creature that is disabled (stunned, knocked down, or dazed) by it.
