He is the Master of Magic and Father of Mysteries who guides the weave of magic that envelopes the world. He tends to the weave constantly, making possible all the miracles and mysteries wrought by magic and users of magic. He is believed to be the embodiment of the Weave and of magic itself.

He is a Neutral Good (previously, and still also, Lawful Neutral) Greater Power. His symbol is a ring of seven stars surrounding a rising red mist, spiraling to the heavens, though his older and often seen symbol is a simple seven-pointed star.

While normally female, he is currently having a go at being male for a few centuries because he fancied a change.
